William Jefferson thinks he's Tony Soprano.

William Jefferson, a Congressman out of Louisiana (New Orleans specifically), was caught red handed accepting a briefcase containing $100,000.

Right, I'm sure this will convince the jury that Jefferson is innocent. That's how court hearings work, right? The lawyers make a one sentence statement that his deals weren't illegal and the case is closed. We know by this point that we can always take politicians at their word considering how open and honest they have always been with the public. Well, at least he wasn't caught with nearly another $100,000 dollars in his freezer...oh wait...

Sooo, why isn't this guy in jail yet? Apparently being a politician means that you are above the law and are allowed to operate with a complete lack of morals or ethics.

Whatever happened to Rod Blagojevich? I did take note of his wife cuddling up with John Salley on "I'm a Spoiled Piece of Shit, Get Me Out of Here!"

Other than that, I haven't heard much else about him or his legal situation. Which would seem strange since he tried to sell Barack Obama's Senate seat, which Roland Burris now has...no further questions your eminence.

Breaking News - If you have ties to Obama...you are no longer held accountable for your actions. Obama is all-knowing and all-forgiving...just like God.

  1. This guy just won't go away... They need to make the final arguments and let the jury convict this guy.
